Hero’s Land from publisher Orienjoy is a massive open-world survival game on Steam, and it’s one of those rare experiences that every gamer can enjoy – regardless of your experience level or ability.

It’s helped by its innate simplicity, as the only concrete rule is – stay alive. There’s a bit more to it than that of course, so we’ve looked to sum up on why this is a game you need to get involved in.

Choose Your Own Adventure

Many games claim that you can play them exactly how you want, and survive. But in the end you have to use the same tactics over and over again to win through – yet in Hero’s Land you can choose how you want to tackle the many challenges you’ll face.

You can play with others in co-op, or be a lone wolf in the solo mode. You can also make friends in-game to work alongside, or train up pets to become your combat partners instead. Whatever type of player you are Hero’s Land has options that caters for you.

A Huge and Varied Arsenal

As you’d expect for a game focused on surviving you have a dizzying range of weapons to use, each with their own. New ones can be grabbed when you slay some monsters and bosses, and you can even carry multiple ones to use how you see fit.

Some foes will require specific types of weapon, so making sure you have the right tool for the job is essential – and it’s hugely satisfying when you choose correctly and crush your enemy with ease. There are even turrets, stones, and groundspikes you can set up to send your foes packing.

So Many Characters…and Pets!

There’s a huge variety of heroes to unlock here, all unlocked via coins you earn in combat. Every single one has a specific skill set to match your style of play – and also a unique look to match your sense of style.

Then there are a range of monsters out there, but you can keep their (thankfully less aggressive) cubs as pets – or even as partners if you want to defeat your enemies that way.

Grinding Isn’t A Pain

Publisher Orienjoy has made sure grinding away in Hero’s Land isn’t a chore by implementing a unique synthesis mechanism.

Sounds complicated we know, but ultimately it makes levelling up various parts of your character a much smoother process – you won’t find yourself seeing various skills get unbalanced in favour of others.

Pop In Anytime

Hero’s Land doesn’t punish you for having a life outside of the game. You can quit and re-enter the game at any time you wish, even though

When you exit the game you’ll be rewarded for your efforts, and have something to hold onto when you next enter the arena.

So if the above sounds like your cup of tea – and it really should – you can find Hero’s Land on Steam right now

Valorant is a popular tactical FPS which features an exciting roster of agents. Each agent has special abilities, making them perfect for strategic gameplay. Play a casual match, or jump into competitive games. Try out the different agents to see which one you prefer! Will you enjoy Jett’s blades? Or will you prefer being a healer as Sage?

You can learn more about it on the game’s official website. If you’re looking for something new to play, check out our Overwatch 2 tier list, Multiversus tier list, and our HoloCure tier list.

Valorant Agent Tier List

Now, we’ll go through our actual tier list, including an explanation of the tiers and some FAQs.

Last updated May 11.

Tiers Explained

Before we move onto the tier list though, we thought we’d quickly explain what our tiers mean:

  • S Tier: These are the best agents currently available in the game, and you should definitely aim to use them. They should also be the first choice to obtain.
  • A Tier: These agents are brilliant – particularly when you haven’t unlocked enough S tiers. You should investigate these agents and see which one will counter your party’s weakness.
  • B Tier: Agents in this tier can really helpwhen you haven’t unlocked many characters, but they fade later on. Definitely use them when you lack S and A characters, but swap them out as much as possible.
  • C Tier: The only real difference between C and D tier is that C tier agents can occasionally have niche uses. They may be great at a particular game mode though.
  • D Tier: We don’t recommend using these agents under any circumstance, unless you absolutely have to because you have nothing else.

S Tier

The best agents in the game.

  • Fade
  • Viper
  • Chamber
  • Jett

A Tier

Great agents in their own right.

  • Raze
  • Sova
  • Brimstone
  • Sage
  • Omen
  • Reyna
  • Gekko

B Tier

These agents are great, but not as strong as the others.

  • KAY/O
  • Breach
  • Killjoy
  • Cypher
  • Phoenix
  • Skye

C Tier

These can fulfil niche roles, but aren’t the best.

  • Harbor
  • Astra
  • Neon

D Tier

Skip these agents completely.

  • Yoru

Valorant Agent Tier List FAQ

Now we’ll answer a bunch of questions you may have about Valorant or tier lists in general.

What Is A Tier List?

A tier list is a list of characters that you can unlock in a game – particularly a gacha game – ordered from best to worst. We rank from S tier to D tier, with S being best and D being worst.

The purpose of a tier list is to help you, the player, determine who the best characters to unlock are, so you can save time and money. Once you know who the best characters are, you can form a party out of them and ignore the others.

How Did We Pick Our Valorant Agent Tier List?

We used a combination of the following factors when deciding on our Valorant agent tier list:

  • Personal experience
  • Community feedback
  • General consensus from other tier lists

However, it’s worth noting that tier lists are subjective by nature. This is based on our experience with the game, but yours may vary. So, we recommend that you take this with a pinch of salt and play Valorant for yourself.

How Often Do We Update Our Valorant Agent Tier List?

We update this tier list regularly to ensure that it always follows the latest meta. Typically, you can expect an update around the following happenings:

  • A new character releases
  • Balance changes

There may be a small delay between the above two events as we’ll return to the game to check out the new character for ourselves, or to see how the balance patches have affected things.

Looking for BitLife tips? You’re in the right place. BitLife is the new life simulator on the block, and it’s mercilessly addictive. Seeing your character’s life tick by year by year, watching on as they succeed or fail in love and business – it’s intoxicating stuff.

It also feels a little too big at times. There’s so much to do, and it can be a bit overwhelming. How do you live the best possible life you can? Don’t worry though, we’ve got you covered. Here are our best tips and tactics to make sure you make your BitLife a life worth living.

If you’re looking for something else, check out our complete guide to BitLife. It includes links to all of our other guides, where we’ve covered pretty much every aspect of this awesome game.

BitLife Tips, Tricks, and Cheats

Here are a bunch of tips, tricks, and cheats that will help you progress in BitLife.

Study Hard

It’s a bit of a dull thing to say, but make sure you select the ‘study harder’ option every year when you’re going through your school years. This way you increase your chance of getting a scholarship and not being hit with a hefty student loan. You’ll also get a better job.

No Limits

There’s no limit to the amount of things you do per year. Some activities aren’t worth doing multiple times a year of course – such as choosing to study hard – but other hobbies are worth repeating, including going to the gym.

Buy and Sell

Sadly you can’t rent out property in BitLife, but you can sell your house. However make sure you don’t buy a place where you get saddled with a mortgage you can’t pay. Start small and take it from there – you have all the time in the world. Unless you get hit by an unseen illness of course…

Get Well Soon

Talking of falling ill, make sure you always keep an eye on your health. It costs nothing to see the doctor, and if you do get a serious sickness make sure you use a real one to help sort it. A witch doctor will in all likelihood end up making your condition worse.

Not a Lottery

In real life winning the lottery simply doesn’t happen. In BitLife however the chances of winning aren’t too bad – so it’s well worth taking a punt if you have the funds. If you hit the jackpot you’ll be on easy street.

Keep it Green

Making sure the green bars at the bottom of the screen stay maxed up is vital. To do this keep to a varied timetable of activities – including going to the gym, meditating, and reading at the library.

Marry Old

Yes, marrying an older woman (or man) usually sees your character’s happiness go down. But when they peg it you’ll likely get the inheritance money. Which you can then use to buy a new car or the like. It may be coldhearted and cruel, but that’s (Bit)life.

Keep Parents Happy

Talking of inheritance, make sure you hang out with your parent/s when you can to. Making sure they’re happy can have benefits long-term, including helping paying off your student loans and – yes – getting a big fat inheritance.

Off the Rails

You might like to play it safe here on good old planet Earth, but maybe that’s not the best way to play BitLife. So instead of choosing that ‘nice’ option, maybe see what it’s like to be a bit of a rebel – or a jerk. It’s just a game, and you’ll also learn a lot more about what you can get away with and what you can’t in future play-throughs.

Why not start a new (virtual) life and put these tips to the test by downloading Bitlife – Life Simulator now, available on both the App Store and Google Play.

Long Tech Network and AMC have just announced a collaboration between Last Shelter: Survival, the hugely popular mobile SLG, and The Walking Dead, the international smash hit television series.

The time-limited in-game event – which begins today and comes to an end in three weeks’ time – sees fan-favorite The Walking Dead characters Daryl and Maggie fighting alongside the Commander of the wasteland to see off their human and zombie foes.

These characters are joined in the game by a few iconic locations from the series, including the prison, the Alexandria Safe-Zone, and the Greene Family Farm.

Throughout the event you play as the Commander, charged with keeping your people safe and completing a series of events involving your new friends, Maggie and Daryl.

They include Unlock the Mystery, which involves completing quests to collect stickers to place on the collection board.

Then there’s Collect Clues. The wasteland is dotted with survivor camps, and secreted within them are clues as to the whereabouts of Daryl. Your two-pronged mission is to send teams to search the camps for clues and rescue their inhabitants.

Finally, Drive & Survive sees you navigating a path through the zombie hordes in a vehicle. Or you can navigate right over them, crushing them to smithereens, in order to collect rewards.

On top of these events there are several community events in the pipeline. One of these will see members of the official Last Shelter: Survival community participating in a cosplay event and designing their own emotes.

The emotes that receive the most likes may even appear in the game.

Meanwhile, emotes of Daryl and Maggie are already available in-game, and you can find animated versions on the official Last Shelter: Survival Discord server.

In case you don’t already know, Last Shelter: Survival is an SLG that takes place during a zombie apocalypse. One of the most popular games of its kind on mobile, it has been downloaded well over 100 million times.

You can download Last Shelter: Survival for free right now on the App Store and Google Play.

For more info, join the official Last Shelter: Survival community

By the way, Maggie and Daryl will imminently return to our screens in two separate The Walking Dead spinoff series: The Walking Dead: Dead City in June, followed by The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon later in the year.

Smilegate Megaport held a “battle of the caster” event for its mobile RPG Epic Seven last week – and as the headline of this very article suggests, it was a riproaring success.

The event, named Orbis Caster Clash, saw 110 people applying to compete with each other – by casting the Epic Seven battle with few twists and challenges.

Only six were selected for the final reckoning though – DivineFaker, ProfBoi, Lucent Azure, Tsuzumiya, Valky, and Fartpancakes –  with then two of those chosen as the winning ‘casters.’

Their efforts in the game were judged by Jon “Fallout” Kefaloukos, Alan “IHOLDSHIFT” Donofrio, and Mashuu (CM of Epic Seven). You can see them in that middle image below these words.

The viewer poll also played a part in who won through, with the show produced by Estars Studios and sponsored by the Amazon Appstore. On Twitch the competition attracted over 200,000 views, with around 10,000 people watching at one point.

At the end of the five challenges Divinefaker and Valky were announced as the winners. Congrats to both. They’ll both be casting two community-based Epic Seven Tournaments – namely Commander’s Cup (29th of April) and Conqueror’s Cup (3rd of June). More details can be found here.

You can keep informed on similar events happening by downloading the game itself via the Amazon Appstore, App Store and Google Play. It offers up a rather intoxicating mix of eyecatching visuals and engrossing turn-based-battles, and it’s free to download. So what are you waiting for?

If you’re a mobile game developer you already know all about Spotlight, the leading mobile advertising platform. You probably rely on it to bring users to your games in their droves.

Well read on, because changes are afoot.

Firstly, it’s not called Spotlight any more. From now on you’ll be dealing with Gamelight, following a major rebrand.

Gamelight is growing rapidly, adding new features and tools all the time, so we thought this would be a good moment to make sure you’re up to speed.

For the uninitiated, Gamelight was Initially launched by Germany-based mobile game developer and publisher LOUD Ventures, a company whose previous titles have reached the top 10 highest-grossing and free app rankings in more than 30 countries.

Those countries include major markets like the US, the UK, Germany, and France.

So how does it work?

According to Gamelight co-founder Günay, “Gamelight’s algorithm analyzes users’ playtime, engagement, competitor game usage and demographics data to identify users with the highest likeliness of long-term engagement on our partners’ games.”

Fellow co-founder Florian adds, “We have exclusive access to the said data points, whichputs us in a clear advantage over other UA sources that are simply connected to third party apps.”

Gamelight also utilizes a unique rewarded playtime system, which sees players earning points based on how long they play for. Effectively a loyalty program, this system has proven enormously effective at creating a devoted playerbase.

The platform targets features like age, gender, competitor games, and lookalikes to offer bespoke recommendations to each player individually, while at the same time optimizing ad campaigns for the best possible ROAS and Retention Rate.

In fact, Gamelight boasts a 100% advertiser retention rate, with zero churn.

All of this functionality is available through an intuitive dashboard, currently being used by some of the largest mobile game publishers in the world.

This powerful tool gives advertisers total control over their UA campaigns and targeting preferences, while also providing vast datasets to help them make their next moves.

You can read more about the Gamelight dashboard and its unique features HERE.

We are all increasingly living our lives through screens, whether at work or play. That’s why screen recording software is becoming an absolutely essential tool.

Not only does it let you create a record of important work-related actions and events, but it allows you to record your favorite gaming moments for posterity, pride, and post-match analysis.

You may never have used screen recording software before, but take it from us: once you do, you’ll find that the applications are limitless.

Here’s a quick guide on installing and using EaseUS RecExperts, one of the very best screen recording tools on the market.

First, head to the EaseUS RecExperts product page and click on the relevant download link. You’ve got the choice between a paid version with a free trial, or a free version.

Once you’ve downloaded and installed EaseUS RecExperts on your computer, you’ll hit the main menu. Here you can choose between recording your entire screen or a region of it.

You’ll also have the option to record system sound, microphone sound, and webcam.

Each of these options comes with its own menu. In the Webcam menu you can determine resolution, position, display shape, opacity, and rotation, while in the System sound menu you can test settings and make tweaks.

If you’ve got the Pro version of EaseUS RecExperts, you can also apply Microphone noise reduction and Microphone boost at this stage.

A Pro subscription will also let you auto split or auto stop your recordings when they reach set file sizes or times, and schedule tasks for certain times and with certain parameters.

There’s a settings menu, too, where you can set the storage path for your files, determine the output format, quality, bitrate, sampling rate, and framerate, and much more.

It’s also possible to create and apply a watermark, even if you’re using a free account. Just tap the Watermark icon and follow the prompts.

At the edge of the main menu there’s a sidebar that allows you to select screen, audio, game, webcam, or online video – that is, from video platforms like YouTube and others.

There are differences between these processes, but we’ll keep it simple here and walk you through the basic PC screen recording process.

If you’re looking to record a region of your screen, simply tap ‘Region’ and select the area with the selection tool.

If you’re happy to record the whole screen, you can just go ahead and jump straight to the big orange ‘REC’ button.

After a short countdown, EaseUS RecExperts will start recording the specified area.

Beneath the recording you’ll see a menu console, with options for stopping, pausing, taking a screengrab, setting a timer, adjusting the recording volume, and minimising the window.

Plus, there’s a basic Paint-esque drawing tool, allowing you to draw, write, and create shapes in a variety of colors. This is for annotating the footage you’re recording, but you can just have fun with it.

Once your recording is done you’ll be taken straight to an editing suite, where you can trim the footage, add opening and closing credits, extract the audio, adjust the playback speed, take screenshots, and adjust the volume.

Plus, at this stage you can name your file, choose where to save it, import other files, and more.

It’s important to note here that you only get to use one minute of your footage with the free version of EaseUS RecExperts, so you might want to pony up for the full version if you want to get the most out of this versatile and intuitive piece of software.
